                the skill in living

                                     loose to life

                                              like sitting –
                                     even when the back ache
                           even when the shades of should have said
                                     are sitting –
                is making friends of
                           even the mundane and pointless
                                              especially
                           the mundane and pointless
                                              and writing is –
                not what I want to write
                                              not what I think I should write but
                           what is being written
                                     what
                           – even –
                                                                      is being writing
