I don’t look for new things
                                                         I don’t need to create
                                          new things to see
I don’t need to do that sort of work –
                                                         doesn’t work anyway –
                           I need to pay attention
I need to open attention wide-enough
                                          but just enough
to see what is in front of me
to see what is me all along
                                          all the time
                                                         and then
I will find more new things to see than I could shake an eyelid at
there where my eyes are open
                                          here like a pop-up book
